In the 2025 - 2026 school year, the school continues to focus on tightening labor discipline, enhancing management efficiency and building a safe, friendly, democratic and humane educational environment.

Continuing to affirm its pioneering position in innovating the 2018 general education program, implementing it synchronously in all grades. The school focuses on developing students' abilities and qualities through active teaching methods, experiential and career education, STEM/STEAM education and integrating AI technology.

Professional groups are empowered to proactively develop flexible teaching plans, suitable for the characteristics of ethnic students, combining theory and practice. Scientific research activities among students continue to be promoted with many practical application topics, winning high prizes in domestic and international competitions.

In particular, the School has made digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) an important part of the innovation roadmap. 100% of teachers are trained and fostered in digital capacity; 100% of students use electronic transcripts, LMS systems and online learning platforms. Academic clubs such as STEM Club, IT Club, Foreign Language Club are actively operating, helping students in mountainous areas access modern knowledge and practice global citizenship skills.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Viet Bac Mountainous High School continues to be a model of digital transformation in mountainous education. Under the direction of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions and the Ministry of Education and Training , the school has completed a digital ecosystem including student database, electronic transcripts, boarding management system, human resource management software, finance and teaching.

Teachers and students are encouraged to apply artificial intelligence in learning, reviewing and researching. The “AI for the People” courses implemented by Thai Nguyen province have been attended by 100% of teachers and 12th grade students. The school’s students have continuously won high prizes in the competitions “AI Application in Tourism Promotion” and “Green Thai Nguyen Robotics Creation”, contributing to affirming the pioneering position of mountainous education in the digital age.

At the same time, the school focuses on completing modern and synchronous facilities to meet the requirements of the new educational program. The "green - clean - digital" learning space helps students become more excited and attached to school.
