Signing of memorandum of understanding on exchange in the fields of public administration, culture and sports

DTO - On the morning of June 6, at the Provincial People's Committee, the working delegation of Yeoncheon district (Gyeonggi-do province, Korea) led by Mr. Park Jong Min - Vice Chairman of Yeoncheon district came to work with Dong Thap province. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Phan Van Thang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Doan Tan Buu, and representatives of leaders of provincial departments and branches received and worked with the delegation.

On behalf of the leaders of Dong Thap province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Doan Tan Buu welcomed the delegation of Yeoncheon district to work in the homeland of the pink lotus. At the same time, he hoped that Dong Thap province and Yeoncheon district would focus on exchanging and implementing the contents of the memorandum of understanding on friendly cooperation signed on March 8, 2023. Mr. Park Jong Min - Vice Chairman of Yeoncheon district thanked the leaders of Dong Thap province for the solemn reception and hoped that the meeting would promote friendly cooperation, contributing to the development and common interests between Yeoncheon district and Dong Thap province.

At the working session, members of the delegation of Yeoncheon district and Dong Thap province exchanged and discussed the exchange program to share experiences in the fields of culture, sports, and administrative public affairs; cooperation in sending interns from Dong Thap province to study and work seasonally in Yeoncheon district; coordination in establishing an Agricultural Technical Center in Dong Thap province... On this occasion, representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Home Affairs and Yeoncheon district agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding to organize exchange programs in the fields of administrative public affairs and culture and sports between the two localities.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Phan Van Thang suggested that the Provincial People's Committee direct relevant departments and branches to coordinate with Yeoncheon district to promote the contents according to the signed cooperation agreement. At the same time, urgently develop plans, programs, and schedules for organizing cultural, sports and administrative exchange activities, contributing to enhancing the cooperative relationship in many fields between the two localities.
