Disciplining 3 party organizations and 291 party members in 2023

On the afternoon of January 10, Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to review the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work in 2023 and deploy key tasks in 2024. Provincial Party Secretary Doan Minh Huan chaired the conference.

At the conference, authorized by the Prime Minister , Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan awarded the Government's Emulation Flag to the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee for its excellent completion of all tasks and leading the patriotic emulation movement of Ninh Binh province.

In 2023, together with the Inspection sector of the whole country, Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Committees (ICs) at all levels in the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee continued to innovate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection, supervision, and Party discipline work, comprehensively performing tasks according to the provisions of the Party Charter, focusing on key inspections, and being resolute in directing the implementation of tasks, creating a strong change in inspection and supervision work.

The content of inspection and supervision focuses on the implementation of Party regulations, State policies and laws; manifestations of degradation in ideology, political ethics and lifestyle; "self-evolution" and "self-transformation"; the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities; regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do; declaration of assets and income; the implementation of regulations on exemplary responsibilities of cadres and Party members, especially heads of Party committees and key leaders.

As a result, in 2023, Party committees at all levels in the Provincial Party Committee directly inspected 1,121 Party organizations and Party members; supervised 883 Party organizations and Party members, and disciplined 2 Party organizations and 226 Party members. Inspection Commissions at all levels inspected 734 Party organizations and Party members when there were signs of violations, supervised 950 Party organizations and Party members, and disciplined 1 Party organization and 65 Party members.

Inspections, supervisions and enforcement of Party discipline are carried out strictly, seriously, with quality and efficiency, ensuring compliance with the principles, procedures and regulations of the Central Committee; the work of handling complaints and denunciations by Party committees and Inspection Committees at all levels is focused on and strengthened; the work of reviewing, examining, verifying and handling ensures fairness, accuracy and timeliness; clearly concluding the advantages, disadvantages, nature, level, harm and causes of violations by violating cadres and Party members; gaining the approval of cadres, Party members and the People, contributing to maintaining Party discipline and order, while creating motivation and favorable conditions for the army and people in the province to carry out socio-economic development.

After disciplinary action, the Party organization and Party members who violated the law correctly understood and complied with the decision of the competent Party organization. There were no complaints about Party discipline. The local and unit situation was stable, and the internal unity and solidarity were maintained. The results of the inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement work of the Provincial Party Committee have actively contributed to the successful implementation of the province's political tasks.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan affirmed the outstanding results in the Party's inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement work in 2023, especially the innovations in leadership and direction methods in inspection and supervision work, and the good implementation of the motto "inspection must have focus, key points, supervision must be expanded", contributing to warning, deterring, early detection, and remote prevention of violations. The handling of violations demonstrates both the strictness and humanity of the Party.

The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission has clearly demonstrated its proactiveness, thoroughness, and determination in advising the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to lead and direct the inspection, supervision, and disciplinary work within the Party; promptly and proactively advising to overcome shortcomings and limitations pointed out by the Central Party Committee after the inspection. The results of the inspection, supervision, and disciplinary work within the Party have made an important contribution to the work of Party building and rectification, preventing degradation, and tightening discipline and order within the Party.

Emphasizing the role of inspection and supervision work in Party building and the key tasks of the province in 2024 - the year of accelerating the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress, Secretary Doan Minh Huan requested Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Commissions at all levels to continue to closely follow the direction of the Central Committee, review the results of inspection and supervision work from the beginning of the term until now, compare with the targets and tasks according to the Resolution of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress and Resolution No. 03 dated July 12, 2021 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee to have a roadmap and specific implementation solutions, ensuring the completion of the set targets.

Provincial Party Secretary Doan Minh Huan also noted that inspection and supervision work must actively and proactively participate in resolving "bottlenecks" and "knots" in mechanisms and policies, contributing to innovation, creativity and creating development momentum. The content and subjects of inspection and supervision need to focus on sensitive areas, areas prone to corruption and negativity, prominent and pressing issues in society, internal disunity; violations in specialized areas, closed activities, etc., thereby promptly preventing and preventing violations early and from afar.

In addition, it is necessary to strengthen training, fostering, and improving the quality of inspection staff at all levels, focusing on cultivating bravery, fighting spirit, self-study and self-training spirit.
