50th Anniversary of the Launch of the Headquarters of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam: A Great and Sacred Pride

On the evening of June 10, Quang Tri province coordinated with the Government Office to organize a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of the Headquarters of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam (June 6, 1973 - June 6, 2023) at the headquarters relic (Cam Lo town, Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province).

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai and Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization Bui Thi Minh Hoai visited the historical site of the Headquarters of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam.

Attending the ceremony were two Central Party Secretaries: Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai and Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission Bui Thi Minh Hoai.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai emphasized that the relic of the Headquarters of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam is a mark of a time of fighting and sacrifice for the cause of liberating the South and unifying the country; a great and sacred pride not only for the cadres and people of Cam Lo but also for compatriots and comrades nationwide.

After 51 years of liberation, Quang Tri province, from a land "plowed by bombs and bullets", has now risen strongly with new vitality and new spirit, proving the fairy tale "Steel blooms".

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai believes that the Party Committee, government, army and people of Quang Tri will further promote the traditions of their homeland, promote the strength of solidarity and the spirit of overcoming difficulties, continue to exploit and effectively use resources, potentials and strengths; strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges; continue to have remarkable changes in all aspects, develop faster and more sustainably to be more worthy of its rich history and revolutionary tradition.
