At the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that talking about the court means talking about the sacred meaning of justice and fairness; talking about integrity and fairness; talking about the trust, reason and support of the people. This is the pride and also the great responsibility of the people's court sector towards the country.

The General Secretary affirmed that our Party and State always acknowledge and appreciate the merits and contributions of the people's courts over the years. To fulfill their responsibilities well, the General Secretary requested that the people's court sector must always maintain and strengthen the Party's leadership over judicial agencies in general and the people's courts in particular. The people's court must be a solid political and legal "fortress", contributing to consolidating the people's trust in the Party, the State and the cause of innovation, construction and development of the country.

In addition, the General Secretary requested to focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of trial activities of courts at all levels, because this is the central task of the court sector, and also the central task of judicial reform. In trial activities, the results of protecting justice, fairness, protecting human rights, citizen rights, the interests of the State, and the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals must be taken as a measure.

The principles of adjudication as stipulated by the Constitution and the law must be strictly implemented. No case or incident, regardless of its nature or extent, must be allowed to be unjustly convicted or seriously wronged, causing damage to the rights and interests of the State and the legitimate interests of organizations and individuals.

General Secretary To Lam stated that the judiciary sector should increase its participation in building and perfecting legal institutions, ensuring the consistent application of the law in the activities of prosecution agencies. At the same time, it is necessary to promote modernization and expand international cooperation in the sector's work; strengthen digital transformation, apply science and technology, and move towards building electronic courts - digital courts, serving the people better and better. General Secretary To Lam requested that the people's court sector pay special attention to building a team of cadres, especially a team of judges with strong political will, clear ethics, integrity, deep expertise, and the courage to protect what is right and resolutely fight against what is wrong.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, General Secretary To Lam presented the Labor Hero title to the Supreme People's Court. Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented the First Class Labor Medal to the Hanoi People's Court and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court.
