Specifically, the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command mobilized 150 officers and soldiers, along with 50 regular militiamen and rescue equipment to the scene to evacuate people from dangerous areas, patch landslides, and be ready to respond when an emergency occurs.

At the scene, officers, soldiers, and workers used excavators to drive mother-of-pearl piles, fill soil, and reinforce the foot of the Cay An lake dam under the night-long construction site spotlights. Also on the night of November 7, the Ta Nang Commune Civil Defense Command evacuated a total of 90 households in the dangerous area to safety.



As reported by SGGP, from 2 p.m. on November 7, the water level of Cay An Lake was approaching the overflow level, with the risk of the dam breaking or spilling water to the downstream area. By the evening of the same day, the People's Committee of Ta Nang Commune ordered the evacuation of 70 households in Chan Rang Hao and Tou Nhe villages, Ta Nang Commune to schools, religious establishments, and houses in safe areas starting from 8:30 p.m. on November 7.


Also on the evening of November 7, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi directly went to Cay An lake area to direct the handling and safety work of Cay An lake dam, Ta Nang commune.
Cay An Lake in Ta Nang commune was put into use in 2007 with a capacity of about 1.7 million m3 . This is an irrigation project providing irrigation water for 250 hectares of agricultural land in Ta Nang commune.
