Previously, on social media, a picture of a child with many bruises on many areas of the body such as the buttocks, legs, thighs and ribs appeared. According to the person who posted the information, the abused boy is in 6th grade, in Vinh Khuc commune.

Mr. Luong Dinh Quyen, according to initial information, Mr. D.VT, (born in 1988, in Cau village, Vinh Khuc commune) received a report that his son D.HM (born in 2013) and 3 other students (all in 6th grade) at Vinh Khuc Commune Secondary School used tobacco.

Then, at around 2:00 p.m. on March 10, Mr. T. asked the children to come to his karaoke establishment in Dong Khuc village (Vinh Khuc commune) to question them and used a plastic pipe to beat them with the purpose of deterring them from using tobacco.

Upon receiving the news, Vinh Khuc Commune People's Committee, immediately after the incident, sent officials to visit the children.

Currently, the children's health is basically normal and they still go to school.
