Ariel Lin reveals the reason for making a will at the peak of her career

Ariel Lin started writing her will when she was in her early 20s.

Appearing on the recently aired Sunny Mood program, Ariel Lin suddenly revealed that she had been thinking about making a will since she was young, when her artistic career was blossoming. The 42-year-old actress shared: "I started writing a will when I was in my early 20s and only recently updated it." While the two MCs were surprised by this information, the Taiwanese beauty explained that at that time, she had many roles that required dangerous scenes.

"I've shot a lot of period dramas, some of which required wearing a safety harness. Sometimes I would be pulled up to a height of about 4 or 5 floors and all of these scenes depended on the coordinator. It was really dangerous!", the actress of the film "Innocence" recalled. She confided that after thinking about the working environment that constantly faced risks and dangers, she decided to write down the things she wanted to say, in case the worst happened.

The actress admitted that in the past, when writing a will, she focused on the issue of dividing assets, but now it's different.

Ariel Lin revealed that in the past, she often wrote a lot about the issue of dividing assets in her will. But over time, her messages changed to "dividing emotions". The actress of the movie "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" explained: "I share lines expressing gratitude, respect and messages". The actress added that currently the will only has text content but she plans to attach a drive containing pictures and videos to it. "I hope it can become a memento of our love, it can include my partner, manager, parents on both sides, assistants, good friends, children and even fans. I think that would be great", the 8X artist confided.

When asked if she felt more peaceful and relieved after writing her will, Ariel Lin said no. She shared: "I don't think it's about having peace of mind, but about discovering what I can do more or what I haven't done. For me, there are no second chances in life. So, it's a reminder of what I haven't done and what I need to do quickly."
