Dakrong is a mountainous district with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, so the facilities for children's learning, playing and entertainment are still limited. This is something that the Party Committee and authorities at all levels in the district are always concerned about and every year there is a certain investment so that children in the district have the conditions to play and study.

The Standing Committee of the District People's Council organized a dialogue forum with the Children's Council to create conditions for children to boldly speak up, express their thoughts, aspirations and recommendations so that sectors and levels can listen, share and have specific answers.

Vice Chairman of Dakrong District People's Council Tran Van Chay said: This year's dialogue forum with the Children's Council aims to build a safe, friendly and healthy environment, ensuring children's comprehensive development, preventing social evils from entering the school environment; at the same time, mobilizing the participation of the entire political system in the work of caring for, educating and protecting children.

With a joyful, excited, encouraging, sharing, listening and understanding spirit... the students brought to the forum many very legitimate opinions. The children's delegates expressed their thoughts and wishes, and suggested that all levels and sectors should pay attention to investing in building cultural institutions and useful playgrounds so that children can have healthy entertainment, away from social evils and smartphones.

In addition, the children also hope that the State will pay attention to investing in facilities for learning music and fine arts skills, participating in summer camps, military semesters... to help children have conditions to play, practice and study... The opinions expressed by the children at the forum were explained and answered responsibly by relevant departments, branches and agencies.

Nguyen Lam Nhu, Chairman of the Dakrong District Children's Council, said: Before the forum was held, in order to listen to and absorb children's opinions on issues related to children, under the guidance of the Youth Union officials and the team leader, the members of the Children's Council collected information from children in schools on the topic "A happy and healthy summer, learning many good things, doing many good things".

In addition, you also contribute your opinions through the “What I Want to Say Mailbox” model, dialogue forums organized by schools, local authorities and especially through the online information collection google form. At this forum, based on the opinions compiled from children at the grassroots level, members of the Children’s Council speak and ask questions to the Standing Committee of the District People’s Council and leaders of relevant departments, agencies and sectors.

From the opinions of students brought to the forum, in order to continue to properly implement the legitimate rights of children, and at the same time promote the responsibility of local Party committees and authorities towards children in the district in organizing summer activities for children, the Dakrong District People's Committee directed specialized departments, offices, and commune-level authorities to continue to study and resolve the difficulties and problems that the members of the Children's Council raised at the forum.

Strengthen propaganda and mobilization work to encourage parents and the whole society to pay more attention to taking care of their children'seducation and managing students to avoid unfortunate accidents and injuries. Continue to pay attention to allocating budgets and mobilizing resources to invest in essential facilities such as playgrounds, swimming pools, and cultural institutions to create all conditions for children to study and play healthily, especially during the summer vacation.

The District Youth Union continues to guide and care for the district's children, creating a healthy and useful playground, contributing to improving the quality of comprehensive education for children, including paying attention to children in difficult circumstances, orphans and disadvantaged children. It is necessary to proactively propose to competent authorities to guide the construction of a commune-level children's council model after implementing the policy of abolishing the district level, so that children continue to have the opportunity to express their legitimate aspirations, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Children.

For communes and towns, continue to pay attention to planning to create land funds, while balancing the budget, mobilizing resources to invest in infrastructure so that children have conditions to play, study and practice, especially creating useful playgrounds for students during each summer vacation. It is necessary to proactively study the government transfer after implementing the policy of streamlining the apparatus and not implementing the district-level government to organize dialogue and exchange activities between grassroots government leaders and children to solve and share issues that children are interested in.

The voice from the dialogue forum with the Dakrong District Children's Council is truly a message for all levels, sectors and localities to understand, share and take responsibility to join hands to care for and educate children better and better.
