(QNO) - On May 30th, leaders of Dai Loc district visited and offered congratulations on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday celebration at temples throughout the district.
The leaders of Dai Loc district wished all religious dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers a peaceful and joyful celebration of the Buddha's Birthday. They also expressed their appreciation for the contributions of the local Buddhist associations to the district's development over the past time, especially in disseminating information to the people to ensure the effective implementation of the Party's policies, the State's laws, and various movements and campaigns.
The district leaders hope that religious leaders and followers will continue to effectively implement policies and guidelines; actively participate in charitable activities and social welfare programs, caring for the poor and those in difficult circumstances; and cooperate with local authorities to successfully achieve socio -economic development goals, maintain security and national defense, and build national unity.
* On the occasion of the Great Buddha's Birthday Celebration, Buddhist Calendar 2567, on the afternoon of May 30th, Mr. Le Quang Hat - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Thang Binh District Party Committee - led a delegation from the district to visit and offer congratulations at Binh Que Pagoda (Binh Que commune) and An Thai Pagoda (Binh An commune).
Mr. Le Quang Hat wished the religious leaders, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers a peaceful and happy Vesak celebration. He also hoped that the religious leaders would continue to encourage Buddhist followers to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and charitable and humanitarian activities.
On this occasion, the district leaders also visited and offered congratulations on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday at Giac Nguyen Pagoda (Ha Lam town), Bao Chau Pagoda (Binh Nguyen commune), Ngoc Son Pagoda (Binh Phuc commune), Giac Hai Pagoda (Binh Dao commune), and Hien Luong Pagoda (Binh Giang commune).
* Duy Xuyen District also recently organized delegations to visit and congratulate Buddhist establishments on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday celebration.
The district leaders extended their congratulations to the Buddhist dignitaries and officials, acknowledging their contributions in promoting and mobilizing Buddhist followers to participate in environmental protection and social welfare. The district leaders hoped that the dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers would continue to uphold the fine traditions of Buddhism, contribute to social welfare activities, and build national unity.
* On the afternoon of May 30th, a delegation from the Tam Ky City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee visited Buddhist establishments in the area.
City leaders extended their best wishes to the religious leaders, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers for a peaceful, warm, and happy Vesak celebration. They also expressed their hope that the religious leaders, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers would continue to work alongside the Party committees and government at all levels in implementing the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, and jointly contribute to building a more prosperous and beautiful Tam Ky.
* The leadership of the Nông Sơn District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, led by Mr. Quảng Văn Ngọc - Secretary of the District Party Committee, recently visited and congratulated Buddhist establishments on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday celebration.
The leaders of Nong Son district wished the abbots and Buddhist followers a joyful and peaceful Vesak season in the spirit of unity and harmony with the nation. They also acknowledged the contributions of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of the district and the religious leaders, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers to the local development in the past.
The district leaders hope that religious dignitaries and monks will continue to play their roles and cooperate with the local government to successfully achieve socio-economic development goals, maintain security and national defense, and build national unity.
