Provincial Police leaders visit and wish a happy new year to police officers, soldiers and people of Con Co island district

Today, February 5, a working delegation of Quang Tri Provincial Police led by the Director of the Provincial Police, Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai, visited and extended New Year greetings to police officers, soldiers and people on Con Co island district on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024.

At the working session with the Con Co Island District Police, Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai highly appreciated the results achieved by the island district police in 2023, especially the coordination with forces to ensure security and order in the area, contributing to the development of Con Co Island District.

In the coming time, it is recommended that the District Police pay special attention to Party building and force building, promote the exemplary and leading role of unit Party committees and commanders; strengthen political and ideological education to build a contingent of cadres and soldiers with courage and solidarity.

The district police force must be extremely proactive, responsive, and closely coordinate with the armed forces on the island to effectively carry out the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and island borders.

Focus on internal political protection, state secret protection, combat and refute hostile and erroneous viewpoints; direct officers and soldiers to stay close to the locality and people to strictly manage people and imported and exported goods. On that basis, strengthen preventive measures to minimize the causes and conditions for crime, maintain the locality free of crime and law violations.

With the characteristics of an island district, Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai also requested that the district police must always proactively develop plans and strategies to ensure smooth communication and fully and accurately implement the information reporting regime...
