After inspecting a number of traffic works in Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan, Anh Son, and Con Cuong districts, this afternoon, in Thai Hoa town, the working group inspected the N7 inner-city cross-road sub-project.
The sub-project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for investment in 2018 and approved for construction drawing design and estimate in 2020 with a total investment of nearly 123.6 billion VND; approved by the sponsor, the Asian Development Bank ADB, for construction implementation on March 17, 2025.

Route N7 is over 1 km long, starting at Km0+00 intersecting with Tran Quoc Hoan Street (old National Highway 48), ending at Km1+76.95 (intersecting with D1 Street). To date, the project has completed compensation payments for 23/26 affected households. Some sections have constructed foundations, drainage ditches, etc. Overall, the project is behind schedule, the construction unit is committed to completing all items on Route N7 before September 30, 2025 to ensure traffic connectivity.

After inspecting the scene, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Phu Hien requested the People's Committee of Thai Hoa town to strongly mobilize the remaining households to agree to the compensation plan and hand over the site to the investor to ensure the project's progress.
Also this afternoon, the working delegation inspected the sub-project of building and upgrading inner-city roads in Cua Lo, Vinh city. The sub-project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for investment in 2018 and approved for construction drawing design and estimate in 2020 with a total investment of VND 124,260 billion. Of which, the construction cost is VND 110,653 billion and the site clearance cost is nearly VND 40 billion, approved by ADB to start construction on November 22, 2023.

In particular, Sao Nam route has a length of 1.1 km, starting at the intersection with National Highway 46), ending at the intersection with the National Coastal Road. Currently, the construction of the items on the route has been basically completed, and the sidewalk is under construction. Sao Nam route is expected to be completed on July 15.
Longitudinal route No. 5 has a length of 3.5 km intersecting with Sao Nam road; the end point intersects with the 72m Vinh - Cua Lo axis. Branch route N14 is about 300 m long.

At the scene, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Phu Hien requested the Vinh City People's Committee to speed up the progress and complete the site clearance of the vertical axis No. 5 from Km0-Km0+70 to ensure the connection of the road (intersection with Sao Nam Street). At the same time, construct the technical stop at Km2+900, the connection point to the residential road within the implementation period of the Agreement until September 30, 2025.
Currently, the site clearance has been basically completed, and the construction has completed 50% of the contract value. There are still 70m of the first line for 03 households. These households have not agreed to the resettlement plan and compensation support plan.
In addition, focus on handing over the site to complete all items on vertical route No. 5 before September 30, 2025 to ensure traffic connection.
