On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on the afternoon of July 22, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of Long An Provincial Party Committee visited and presented gifts to war invalids and people who contributed to the revolution in Tan Hung district. Mr. Phan Hoa Nong - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee joined the delegation.
The delegation visited wounded soldiers Le Thi Chac and Le Van An residing in Ruong Luoi hamlet, Vinh Thanh commune and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Khanh, Lang Sen hamlet, Vinh Dai commune, who had contributed to the revolution. At each place they visited, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of Long An Provincial Party Committee, inquired about their health, living conditions and gave each person a gift.
At the same time, we hope that in the coming time, the family will continue to take good care of the subjects so that they can live long with their children and grandchildren; educate family members to promote revolutionary traditions, actively participate in local socio -economic development movements, and contribute to building a more prosperous and beautiful homeland.
On this occasion, Tan Hung District People's Committee organized a ceremony to hand over a house of gratitude to Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh, who is the subject mentioned above. The house has a total construction area of 70 square meters, with a wall structure, a corrugated iron roof, and a brick floor. The total construction cost is 100 million VND, supported by the Provincial Gratitude Fund.
