In recent times, the team of prestigious people in Lao Cai province has been the core in propaganda work, bringing the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State to the people; becoming an "extended arm" to help the Party committee and government in propagating and mobilizing people to develop the economy , reduce poverty sustainably, effectively implement patriotic emulation movements, national target programs, contributing significantly to the development of the province.

At the conference, prestigious delegates presented many papers sharing experiences, methods of mass mobilization and skills to solve problems arising in ethnic minority areas. From local practice, some delegates suggested that the province continue to pay attention to preserving the cultural identity of ethnic groups, have solutions to develop traditional culture; at the same time, pay more attention and support to help people in remote areas, ethnic minority areas develop the economy and increase income.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Hoang Giang, Deputy Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and praised the important contributions of prestigious people in the province in recent times. However, in addition to the achieved results, it is also necessary to recognize that ethnic minority areas in Lao Cai province still face many difficulties and challenges.

Therefore, in the coming time, to continue promoting the achieved results, moving towards successfully completing the set goals of the 2020-2025 term; preparing conditions to organize the provincial Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress, the role of prestigious people, grassroots cadres, village and hamlet cadres among ethnic groups becomes more important than ever.

Comrade Hoang Giang suggested that prestigious delegates in ethnic and religious areas continue to promote the spirit of being exemplary, taking the lead in movements; actively propagandize and mobilize families, clans and people to gradually apply science and technology in production, shift the structure of crops and livestock, in order to increase income; actively reform backward customs, well implement village conventions and covenants, especially not giving birth before marriage age, not marrying between relatives, and not marrying early.

Maintain and promote cultural and artistic activities, preserve cultural identities and beliefs of ethnic groups; promote the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; build a strong national solidarity bloc.

Participate in giving opinions in Party and government building, act as a bridge between the people and the Party Committee and government to promptly resolve the legitimate and legal needs and interests of the people.
