The world gold price has increased continuously in the past few days and is at its highest peak in history, causing the domestic gold price to also increase sharply, while the central exchange rate has slightly decreased.

Gold bar price approaches 90 million VND mark, highest ever.

After adjusting up by 1 million VND per tael and trading at 90 million VND in yesterday afternoon session, this morning (October 31), the price of SJC gold bars did not fluctuate, the exchange rate at commercial banks simultaneously decreased by 3 VND.

At 9:00 a.m., Phu Quy Company listed the price of 999.0 round gold rings from 88.6-89.80 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND.

The price of SJC 9999 gold rings also increased by VND200,000 per tael, currently trading around VND87.7-89.20 million/tael.

Although there was no fluctuation in today's session, the price of gold rings at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company is also trading at a high level, currently listed from 88.50-89.58 million VND/tael (buy/sell).

Regarding SJC gold bars, late yesterday afternoon, Doji Company, Phu Quy Company and Saigon Jewelry Company announced the buying price of SJC gold at 88.00 million VND/tael and the selling price at 90 million VND/tael, an increase of 1 million VND. However, this morning, this brand had no changes.

In the world, the gold price is trading at 2,785 USD/ounce, up 5 USD/ounce compared to the same time in the previous session. This price when converted is equivalent to 85.50 million VND/tael, cheaper than the domestic SJC brand by about 4.5 million VND/tael.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on October 31 at 24,243 VND/USD, down 3 VND compared to October 30.

With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank, BIDV and VietinBank all listed USD exchange rates from 25,085-25,455 VND/USD, also down 3 VND compared to the previous session's close.

Meanwhile, Eximbank increased the buying price by 20 VND, while the selling price remained unchanged. Currently, the bank buys at 25,090 VND/USD and sells at 25,455 VND/USD./.
