Gold ring price nears peak of 89 million VND

On the morning of February 3, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) listed   gold price   Rings cost 87 - 88.7 million VND per tael, 700,000 VND higher than before Tet. At DOJI Gold and Gemstone Group, plain rings cost 87.6 - 89 million VND per tael. Phu Nhuan Gold and Gemstone Company (PNJ) announced the price of plain rings at 87 - 88.7 million VND.

At the same time, the price of gold bars at SJC also increased to 87.3 - 89.3 million VND, an increase of 500,000 VND per tael compared to before the Lunar New Year holiday. State-owned banks also raised the selling price of gold bars to the market to 89.3 million VND per tael.

Domestic gold prices increased in the context of the precious metal on the international market in recent days increasing sharply and setting a new record. On January 31, the world gold price peaked at 2,815 USD per ounce before cooling down to the 2,780 USD range.

Converted according to Vietcombank's selling rate, the world gold price this morning is equivalent to 85.4 million VND per tael. The difference between domestic and world gold prices is currently around 3.5 - 4 million VND per tael.

This morning, the domestic USD price also increased sharply. Vietcombank raised the USD buying and selling price to 25,090 - 25,480 VND, an increase of 180 VND compared to before Tet. The US dollar price on the black market is trading around 24,450 - 25,550 VND.
