Flip Side 8: Ly Hai "bets" on a new turning point, will it be successful?

On the evening of April 26, 2025, in Hanoi , the early screening of the movie "Lat Mat 8" - the latest part of the blockbuster series by director Ly Hai took place. The event attracted a lot of attention from the media and Vietnamese cinema fans. This is a special screening before the movie is officially released nationwide on the occasion of April 30.

"Flip Side 8: Vong Tay Nang" focuses on the theme of family and conflicts between generations. With the main setting being the harsh Central countryside, the film tells the story of a 17-year-old boy - Tam, who dreams of becoming an idol but faces fierce opposition from his father.

In particular, "Flip Side 8" has a large-scale investment, modern effects and more spectacular scenes than previous parts.

The film marks a turning point in the series' genre when it focuses on the theme of family love with many emotional levels of joy and sadness. The film promises to bring the audience moments of contemplation about family love and Vietnamese family ties.
