Groundbreaking Ceremony of Hoa Binh Province Martyrs Temple

NDO - On the afternoon of April 26, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Hoa Binh province solemnly held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Martyrs' Temple. Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Chi Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; and provincial leaders of all periods.

Hoa Binh province has tens of thousands of outstanding sons who have enlisted to fight to protect the Fatherland, many of whom have heroically sacrificed their lives.

To date, Hoa Binh province has more than 5,700 children of martyrs; 245 mothers have been awarded and posthumously awarded the honorable title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother.

To pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the people and the country; also toeducate the younger generation about the glorious cultural and revolutionary traditions of the homeland; to be a red address, a place to proudly introduce to friends inside and outside the province, the Hoa Binh Martyrs Temple was built on an area of ​​2 hectares, at Group 4, Quynh Lam Ward, Hoa Binh City.

Implementation time in 2025 and 2026. Total investment is about 100 billion VND; socialized capital, sponsored by Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Bui Duc Hinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province, emphasized: The groundbreaking ceremony of Hoa Binh Martyrs Temple is a sacred event, with profound political and social significance, expressing the honor and gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Hoa Binh province to the heroic martyrs, the children of Hoa Binh province who sacrificed their blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.

Thereby, arousing pride, promoting the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", and repaying the nation's gratitude. The Hoa Binh Martyrs' Temple project meets the needs and aspirations of the people in the province, veterans, people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs; especially, it will become a red address for people of all walks of life and tourists to visit, pay tribute to the heroic martyrs when coming to Hoa Binh, contributing to educating the younger generation about gratitude, solidarity and love for the homeland.
