Malaysian Food Week will take place from October 31, 2025 to November 13, 2025, introducing to Vietnamese consumers diverse and unique products with bold Asian flavors from many famous brands from the "country of a hundred islands".

Malaysia is known as “Asia in miniature” because of the unique cultural exchange between the Malaysian, Chinese, Indian and Middle Eastern communities. This unique exchange has created a unique culinary identity - where the spicy taste of Indian cuisine blends with the fatty and slightly sweet taste of Chinese cuisine, combined with the typical flavors of the indigenous Malaysians mixed with a little Western spices... All of these elements create a special flavor, both familiar and new, helping Malaysian dishes make a deep impression on the world culinary “map”.
Aiming to strengthen bilateral relations, sustainable cooperation and trade development between Vietnam and Malaysia, the Malaysian Trade Promotion Agency, MATRADE, in collaboration with the FujiMart supermarket chain, organized the program "Malaysia Food Week 2025".
The official opening ceremony took place on October 31, 2025 at FujiMart Supermarket 89 Lac Long Quan, Tay Ho Ward, Hanoi , with the participation of representatives of the Malaysian Embassy, the Malaysian Trade Promotion Agency, MATRADE, the Board of Directors of FujiMart Vietnam and strategic partner groups, along with many loyal customers of the FujiMart supermarket chain.
During the “Malaysian Food Week 2025” at FujiMart supermarket chain, customers will have access to a variety of the most famous product lines of Malaysia. At the same time, FujiMart supermarket organizes a promotion program for Malaysian food products during the period from October 13 to November 13, 2025, promising to bring a rare easy and economical shopping experience to smart consumers in Vietnam.

In his speech, His Excellency Dato' Tan Yang Thai - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Vietnam emphasized: “Today's event marks another important milestone in strengthening the economic and cultural relationship between the two countries. More than just a product promotion activity, the event also reflects the common values that the two countries share - namely cooperation, mutual respect and mutual development”. The Ambassador also invited everyone to experience the unique blend of flavors and traditions - the elements that make up the characteristics of Malaysian cuisine, which represents a subtle blend of Malay, Chinese, Indian and indigenous cultures. From aromatic spices to tropical desserts, from traditional cakes to modern snacks, each product tells a story of Malaysia's vibrant culture and craftsmanship.
Also at the ceremony, Ms. Zaimah Osman, representative of the Malaysian Trade Promotion Agency, expressed her joy and excitement at bringing the event to Hanoi for the first time, following the success of the “Taste of Malaysia” program in 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City. She emphasized that: “The “Taste of Malaysia” program is also an important milestone in the continuous effort to enhance the recognition and accessibility of Malaysian products in Vietnam. The program aims to introduce a wide range of Malaysian food, beverage, lifestyle and healthcare products - products that are highly appreciated for their quality and value - to Vietnamese consumers through reputable retail partners such as FujiMart”.
This food week is an opportunity for Vietnamese consumers to discover and enjoy famous products from Malaysia. Among them, there are long-standing brands that have made their mark on the world market, typically Hwa Tai - a confectionery brand founded in 1962 and loved by many consumers, BOH Tea - a famous beverage with nearly 100 years of age, Ayam Brand - specializing in providing top-class canned foods in Asia, along with many other outstanding products.

Currently, customers can experience these products at all supermarkets in the FujiMart system. All products introduced in the framework of "Malaysia Food Week 2025" are guaranteed in origin and have reasonable preferential prices.
