Vietnam Fatherland Front calls for continued support for people in flood-affected areas

Faced with the severe damage caused by storms No. 11 and 12 and the prolonged flood, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front continues to mobilize and support the affected people.

On October 31, in the face of the severe damage caused by storms No. 11 and 12 and the prolonged floods, which have had particularly serious impacts on people's lives, property and livelihoods, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Head of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee Ha Thi Nga signed Notice No. 57/TB-MTTW-BVDCTTW on continuing to mobilize and support people affected by storms and floods.

In response to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on October 2, 2025 to support people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 10; recently, agencies, organizations, businesses, groups and individuals at home and abroad have actively responded and provided both material and spiritual support. Those valuable contributions have helped people in disaster-stricken areas overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives. The Central Relief Mobilization Committee respectfully acknowledges and sincerely thanks those noble gestures.

However, right after storm No. 10, the provinces in the Northern and Central regions continued to suffer heavy damage due to storms No. 11 and No. 12 and the prolonged floods, causing particularly serious impacts on people's lives, property and livelihoods. Many localities are currently facing numerous difficulties and need to continue to receive the attention and timely support of people across the country to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

In that situation, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front respectfully calls on agencies, organizations, businesses, individuals and compatriots at home and abroad to promote the tradition of "mutual love and support", and continue to join hands to support compatriots in provinces affected by storms No. 11 and No. 12 and floods.

Specific information on the method of support and the receiving address will continue to be implemented according to the Call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on October 2, 2025.
