In episode 24 of the movie "The Way of the One", the first wife, the official wife of the old Quan, ordered Dung Kinh to eliminate Diem - the old Quan's lover. Diem was tied up, gagged and locked in a sack. However, Ly Toet accidentally saw it and immediately thought of a way to ask his two friends Hong and Khuong to save Diem.

The first wife and Dung Kinh were sisters from the same hometown. The first wife wanted to get rid of Diem because she considered her a thorn in her side, while Dung Kinh was afraid that the old Quan would trust Hong more than himself. "So think about it, what would happen if that fox and Hong joined hands?" - the first wife warned Dung.

After being rescued, Diem asked Hong to take her to the resort in May village and promised that when they got there, Hong would know who she was. When Hong and Diem arrived, they accidentally met Dung and Tuyet walking together. The appearance of Diem and Hong made the couple extremely surprised.

Hong then talked to Tuyet privately and warned her: "You just stick with Dung, don't get involved with my brother Khuong."

At the same time, Diem spoke privately with Dung, handing him a handwritten note from old Quan that said: "From now on, Ms. Diem will be the manager of the restaurant and the entire resort." Dung was originally assigned by old Quan to manage the resort, so he did not easily accept this change. However, after calling old Quan to confirm, Dung was forced to accept.

Dung informed Tuyet of this news, which shocked her. Before she could enjoy the joy of being the owner of the resort, Tuyet had to face the truth that she had been "stolen". Tuyet hurriedly ran to beg Diem.

Long realizes that Hong is an important factor in the investigation and decides to use Hong as part of his crime-solving strategy. Long gets closer to the "bosses" and the location of the secret drug bunker. As they delve deeper into their target, Long and Hong realize that behind the large shipments, the crimes, and the financial benefits is a "history" of "hatred" and "gratitude", "familiarity" turned into "hostility" between people who considered each other brothers, comrades on the same front...

The film focuses on Hong, a victim of crime, exposing the plots of those who spread "white death" to society for money. The film helps viewers better understand the police force - those who silently sacrifice themselves, risk their lives to protect the peace of the Fatherland.
