Just a few days after its launch, OpenAI's AI Images for ChatGPT image generation tool has flooded social media platforms like Facebook, Threads... with images in the style of Studio Ghibli - the famous Japanese animation studio.
According to many users, the new feature on ChatGPT is causing a "fever" thanks to its ability to quickly convert photos, create cute shapes and perform easily with just one command.
Ms. Thu Hang (an office worker in Ho Chi Minh City) said she really likes this image style. According to her, just log in to ChatGPT, upload the photo you want to convert, type the command to request to convert the image to Studio Ghibli style, along with other requests if any, and you will have the photo you want in less than a minute.
Meanwhile, a Facebook account named TN expressed satisfaction because the Ghibli photo creation feature on ChatGPT is very smart, as the Vietnamese text on the photo no longer has as many errors as before, and can be 60%-70% correct in spelling.

However, some other users said that the experience of creating Ghibli images on ChatGPT is not really smooth, sometimes interrupted and having to try again several times.
On the other hand, many opinions say that using AI to create an image of oneself in the Ghibl style, although harmless, is an act of disrespect to Studio Ghibli founder Hayao Miyazaki. "Miyazaki, who spent decades of passion and hard work to create something so "legendary", had to witness his artwork being created by OpenAI through algorithms easily without his permission or consent. This violates the principle of creative thinking" - a social network account wrote.
Experts warn that users should only use personal images to create Ghibli photos, and should not arbitrarily use other people's images, especially those of influential people, artists, leaders...
Times change, argued with boyfriend, went to ask ChatGPT
Sharing on the X platform recently, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said that the number of people using this tool is increasing, leading to overload.
In a previous post, OpenAI CEO expressed his joy at seeing users loving this new feature in ChatGPT.
"However, our GPUs are 'burning out'. We're temporarily limiting the number of image creations while we work to improve performance. Free ChatGPT users will soon be able to create 3 images per day," CEO Sam Altman wrote.
