Samsung Electronics Vina introduces The Freestyle 2nd generation to the Vietnamese market, a device that can transform any surface, even the ceiling, into a screen up to 100 inches.

This is the latest portable smart projector in Samsung's lifestyle lineup, combining groundbreaking innovative technology with a user-centric design. With The Freestyle 2nd generation, taking your favorite content from shows, movies, and games on the go is easier than ever.

In a compact form factor, the device features a flexible swivel base that can rotate 180 degrees for projection on any flat surface, with screen sizes ranging from 30 inches to 100 inches. Regardless of the image projection size chosen, The Freestyle Generation 2 maintains excellent 360-degree image and sound quality. Full HD (1920x1080) resolution provides large, sharp, and clear images so users can enjoy a big-screen experience anytime, anywhere.

PurColor technology automatically optimizes colors, delivering more realistic and vibrant image quality.

Another improvement that enhances the movie-watching experience is the Smart Edge Blending feature, which allows two projectors to merge and project onto a single, widescreen display, creating a cinematic experience that sets it apart from other products. This feature provides a panoramic viewing experience of up to 160 inches horizontally and 120 inches vertically, ensuring top-notch image quality for nighttime movie screenings or gaming sessions in the living room.

The second-generation Freestyle features expanded DDR memory, up to 2.0GB, and software optimized for a more powerful performance experience. Additionally, the device allows users to easily access their favorite content, from TV to movies, making long movie screenings simple by eliminating the need for multiple cables and accessories – just a Wi-Fi connection.

Part of Samsung's smart home ecosystem, users can easily project content from their smartphones via the SmartThings app, while the Smart Calibration feature optimizes brightness balance based on the color of the projection surface, enhancing the viewing experience. For those traveling, users can enjoy the experience without worrying about power, as The Freestyle can be powered by a portable power bank supporting the popular USB-PD 3.0 standard.

Similar to Samsung's smart TVs, the second-generation The Freestyle projector also uses the Tizen OS operating system, allowing users to enjoy a rich selection of entertainment content such as K+,FPT Play, VieON, Galaxy Play, TV360… and other privileges from smart TVs in the body of a compact, portable projector weighing less than 1kg.

The second generation Freestyle is officially available for sale on www.samsung.com from December 18, 2023, with a suggested retail price of VND 16,900,000, and comes with a free Freestyle power bank and Samsung Freestyle carrying bag.
