This drink is made by letting ground coffee slowly drip through a filter (phin) into a glass filled with sweetened condensed milk and then adding ice. The combination of the bitter taste of coffee with the rich sweetness of condensed milk and the freshness of ice cubes makes this drink appealing.

Iced milk coffee appears from sidewalk cafes to 5-star hotels. Not only that, in Vietnamese restaurants around the world, iced milk coffee is a very popular accompanying drink.

According to the reporter's investigation, the guide to Vietnamese coffee was posted by Michelin Guide on its website in March 2024 and then re-cited by the Michelin Guide's blue-ticked Fanpage in May 2024.
