By the night of December 3, the weather in the North and North Central regions will turn cold, with some areas in the highlands experiencing severe cold. The lowest temperatures will generally range from 15-18 degrees Celsius; in the mountains 13-15 degrees Celsius and some highland areas may drop below 11 degrees Celsius.

The strongly affected areas include: Quang Tri - Da Nang , the eastern part of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa.
This cold spell and rain threatens to affect livestock and crops; and increases the risk of flooding in low-lying areas, flash floods in small rivers and streams, and landslides in mountainous areas.
At sea, strong winds and big waves affect ships and activities at sea.
