Mo Cay Nam handed over houses under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, phase 1, 2025

Secretary of An Thoi Commune Party Committee Ngo Thanh Nhan presented the decision to donate a house to Ms. Mai Thi Nhi;

After more than 2 months of urgent implementation, 85.7% of the plan has been basically completed with 83 houses including: households with meritorious services (35 houses), poor households (14 houses) and near-poor households (34 houses). Each house has an area of ^{​​32-54m2} , designed to ensure the standards of walls, corrugated iron roofs, and cement floors; construction costs from 60-90 million VND; of which, the support capital from the program is 60 million VND, the rest is contributed by family and relatives.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Chairman of the District People's Committee Vo Van Ut - Deputy Head of the District Steering Committee said that the results of the completion of phase 1 were very encouraging and appreciated, but this was only the first step, there were still many households in need of attention and support in terms of housing and land. The leaders of the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee pledged to continue to direct strongly, mobilize all resources to effectively implement phase 2 with the determination to strive to complete this goal before June 30, 2025.

To continue to ensure the completion of the houses on time, it is necessary to speed up the construction progress and strengthen the inspection work to ensure the criteria, quality of the works and settlement records according to regulations; continue to carry out well the propaganda, mobilization, reception and management of support resources in the most scientific and effective way.

Strengthen coordination between levels and sectors in a synchronous and smooth manner to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles that arise from the beginning.

Previously, the District Steering Committee and leaders of An Thoi commune attended the handover ceremony of the charity house to Ms. Mai Thi Nhi's family in An Hoa hamlet.
