In many majors, highly practical courses in the training program are organized right at the business, instead of inviting business lecturers to the school. Automotive technology block - from school to international car company

Since 2015, Vien Dong College has invested in a practice system with all 5 types of engines: oil, gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas (CNG), electricity ( VinFast ) and hybrid. In 2024, Mitsubishi (Japan) donated a 100% new Xpander car.

The teaching staff includes masters from major training institutions in Ho Chi Minh City and many engineers who are working directly at famous garages. The school also transferred a homemade electric car to Lao Cai College and supported training for students majoring in automobiles at iSpace College ( Da Nang ). Thanks to this model, the automobile training capacity of Vien Dong has increased steadily by over 15% each year.

Students have the opportunity to intern at major companies such as Ford, Mercedes, Kia, Hyundai, VinFast, and recently BYD (China) - a company that has officially placed an order to recruit Vien Dong students to work.

Beauty care block - international cooperation and spreading career opportunities

With the orientation of keeping up with global trends, Far East College has invested in international standard models from Germany and the US for the beauty care industry.

In 2023, the school signed a cooperation agreement with Seo Kyong University (Seoul, Korea) on university transfer training, witnessed by the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and the Director of the Department of Health . Previously, in 2022, the school signed a comprehensive practice agreement with the Ho Chi Minh City Dermatology Hospital, which gathers a team of leading experts in the southern region.

Thanks to that, students can study - practice - work at real facilities. Many students after graduation work at large spas in Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Hoi An. This training model is currently expanding to Vinh Long, Can Tho City and Da Nang, contributing to the development of quality human resources for the beauty industry in the Central and Southwestern regions.

Nursing and general practitioner block - connecting virtue, integrating globally

With the motto "practice is the core", the school has invested billions of dong in modern equipment from the US and Germany (Nasco, Gauman, 3B Scientific). These equipment also directly support Cho Ray Hospital and District 12 Hospital (old) in nursing training.

The school regularly organizes seminars with the participation of leading medical experts from major hospitals and medical colleges nationwide. In particular, since 2020, Viễn Đông has been one of the first institutions to be certified by the General Department of Vocational Education and the Knappschaft Medical Group (Germany) for the 2+2 joint program, allowing students to study and work in Germany, receiving salaries according to the dual training model (dual programs).

Nursing students of Far East College receive allowances from the third year when interning at public hospitals such as Children's Hospital 2 and City Hospital, and most are officially recruited right after graduation.

Information technology block - innovation and entrepreneurship from the classroom

In the field of information technology, the school invested in server systems and ring networks, invited lecturers from Quang Trung Software Park (QTSC) and India to directly teach and guide students in their graduation projects. From there, many practical products were born: App Viendong.edu.vn, Vien Dong Library, Admissions App with VienID, and software transferred to Lam Dong Medical College, Long An College.

Notably, Defimaps software - a mapping application of Vien Dong students - won second prize nationwide in the "Student Startup" competition organized by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (formerly) in 2022, and Viendong Edu App won third prize nationwide in the startup competition hosted by the Ministry of Education and Training in 2024.

Information technology students of Far East College start earning their professional income from the second year, and upon graduation, most of them have jobs in their field at enterprises in QTSC with an average salary of 12 million VND/month.
