Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai was appointed Deputy Secretary of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, was mobilized and appointed to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

On November 17, Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Secretariat's decision on personnel work.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the decision of the Secretariat on Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai ceasing to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and ceasing to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term; transferring and appointing Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, presented the decision of the Secretariat to Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai.

Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai was born in 1971 in Luong The Tran commune, Cai Nuoc district (Ca Mau). Mr. Ngai has a master's degree in economic law, a bachelor's degree in law, and a senior degree in political theory - administration and state management, senior specialist program.

Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai has held the following positions: Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tran Van Thoi District, Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Secretary of the Nam Can District Party Committee, Secretary of the Ca Mau City Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and delegate of the 10th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

From November 2024, Mr. Ngai was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province. In June 2025, Mr. Ngai continued to be appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province (after the merger of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu).
