Invitation to join the Cross-Border E-Commerce Promotion Delegation in Japan 2025

In order to support agencies and enterprises to directly understand the market situation, seek business opportunities through cross-border e-commerce, thereby improving import-export and investment capacity in the field of e-commerce, applying digital technology to the Japanese market, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, Ministry of Industry and Trade organizes the Cross-border E-commerce Promotion Delegation in Japan 2025. Details are as follows:

1. Time (expected): From April 20 to 26, 2025 (including travel time).

2. Location: Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.

3. Program (expected)

- Work with Japan Cross-Border E-Commerce Association (JACA) and conduct market surveys at the destination;

- Participate in the Tokyo E-commerce and Retail Fair and Exhibition to survey and learn about market information;

- Participate in the Vietnam - Japan Cross-Border E-Commerce Promotion Conference and sideline exhibition organized by the Department of E-Commerce and Digital Economy in coordination with the Vietnam Trade Office in Japan. The forum includes 3 main contents: (1) Introducing opportunities and potentials for e-commerce development in Vietnam and (2) Introducing opportunities and potentials for exporting to Japan through e-commerce channels and (3) Direct trade between the business communities of the two countries. The conference program will take place in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.  

  4. Industry: multi-industry.

5. Participants: State management agencies, Enterprises of all economic sectors; business and investment support organizations (Trade promotion centers, Industry associations).

6. Scale: About 10 to 15 agencies, organizations, and businesses .

7. Cost

- Agencies and businesses participate in paying expenses (air tickets, visas, meals, accommodation, travel, translation, trade, documents, etc.);

- The organizing committee partially supports the costs of organizing working programs and arranging meetings with partners, businesses, and investors in Japan.
