Sharing with students, Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen said that even after graduating, whether you have a career, become a "big boss, big lady" or become a leader, president, or director of a corporation, you need to remember one thing: always follow the legal procedures. "Only by following the State's procedures can we eat well, sleep well, and not be afraid of anyone knocking on the door or inviting you in. That is the highlight that I have always followed for 40 years since returning to the country. Doing business respects the law, follows the procedures, and follows the regulations."

The businessman said the line between breaking the law and not is quite thin.

“We need to think and consider carefully before signing or deciding anything. What we need to think about is whether it will harm the country or ourselves? If it is right and beneficial to the company, family and ourselves, then we will do it,” said Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen.

The billionaire believes that you should not think that the economic and financial sector is dry. “This sector has countless changes. But remember that if you want to do economics, you must know about finance. These two things must go together. Because when doing economics, you must know how to read financial reports and know where the loopholes are,” said Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen.

He also shared that he was once selected as a financial inspector for Boeing (USA) and said that Vietnamese intelligence is not inferior to international friends. “Maybe you have not used it yet. But before using it, you must learn from your teachers and know how to apply it,” he said.

He also advised young people to enjoy their beautiful student years. “No one forbids you from going to cafes, having fun, and having fun. Four years of university go by very quickly. You should take advantage of those four years to focus on studying,... If you drop out, that's fine, but if you study, you have to absorb what your teachers give you. The way to study is to think innovatively and creatively, instead of memorizing and being a bookworm. The way to study is to 'answer whatever the teacher asks' is wrong,” he said.

According to Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen, students should feel happy to live and study in the more complete conditions of the country and each family today. “Ask yourself why Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen has been able to do that since he was 31 years old, can you do the same? Let's ask ourselves and guide ourselves,” the 75-year-old man inspired.

In response to a student question about artificial intelligence (AI), Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen said he supports the development of AI and believes that universities need to pay attention to this field. “AI will play a very important part in the development of the country. Even within our group, AI has contributed to many operational programs,” he said.

Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien - CEO of IPP Group, wife of Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen added that their group considers AI a pillar for sustainable development.

“In all industries, we can apply AI and should not underestimate it. Because it can compete for jobs, even replace you if you are not faster. But if we do not understand it, we cannot watch out for it. We also hope that teachers will review some professions where AI can replace humans in the future, to avoid students becoming unemployed before graduating,” said Ms. Tien.
