A 10th grade student in Thanh Hoa was beaten by a group of friends to the point of critical condition.

On the afternoon of November 3, Mr. Le Hoang Ba Huyen - Principal of Thanh Hoa Agricultural College confirmed that at this educational institution, a 10th grade student was assaulted by a group of upperclassmen, resulting in serious injuries. Currently, the police are investigating and clarifying the cause of the incident.

According to the school's report, at around 8:50 to 8:55 a.m. on October 31, during the second period break, in classroom E302 (3rd floor), when Nguyen Trong Anh Tuan (residing in Dong Son ward, Thanh Hoa province), a student of class DCN65B2 majoring in Industrial Electricity (grade 10, Continuing Education system), was sitting in class looking at his phone, he was suddenly attacked by a group of grade 11 students studying on the second floor of the same building. After the fight, the group of students quickly left the classroom.

Upon receiving the student's report, the teacher on duty and school staff promptly arrived and took Tuan to the medical room for first aid. Due to the victim's critical condition, the school leadership immediately contacted An Viet Hospital (Trieu Son Commune) to dispatch an ambulance and also notified the student's family. At around 9:25 a.m., the ambulance arrived and took Tuan to the hospital.

Immediately after that, the school held an emergency meeting, assigned teachers to support the family during the emergency process, and reported the incident to the authorities. After being treated at An Viet Hospital, student Nguyen Trong Anh Tuan was transferred to Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital. School leaders visited, encouraged and supported part of the treatment costs.

Upon receiving the news, Trieu Son Commune Police quickly took action, sending two working groups to conduct verification at the school and hospital. Initial results determined that four 11th grade students were involved in the assault on Tuan.

However, due to the severity of the injury, after a day of intensive treatment, Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital predicted that Tuan's health condition was very bad and recommended that his family take him home. Tuan was taken home at 1:45 p.m. on November 1, 2025.

Currently, the police are coordinating to investigate and clarify the cause and motive of the group of students who caused the incident.
