A commune invested more than 406 billion VND, reaching the advanced NTM target

Hoang Dieu Commune is located in the Southeast of Chuong My District, with 7 villages, 2,710 households and 11,263 people. After being recognized as a rural area in 2015, from 2016 to present, the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Dieu Commune have always persevered in the path of rural development in the direction of civilization and modernity. In 2023, the total production value of the commune is estimated at 492 billion 220 million VND, with an average income per capita of 71.16 million VND. After many years of building new rural areas and improving new rural areas, the material and spiritual life of people in the area has been significantly improved.

Hoang Dieu will receive the certificate of recognition as an advanced NTM commune on November 10, 2024.

The appearance of Hoang Dieu commune has changed completely, the infrastructure (electricity - roads - schools - stations) is more spacious than before. Many welfare works have been invested in, 100% of roads have lighting systems, cultural houses have been invested in, upgraded and installed with sports equipment to ensure the entertainment needs of rural people. The economy has shifted towards increasing the proportion of industry, services and trade, the poverty rate has decreased to 0%, the average income per capita in 2023 will reach 71.16 million VND/person/year (an increase of 42.16 million VND/person compared to 2015).

The political system at the grassroots level is always strong, the security and order situation is always stable, the rural environment is increasingly green, clean and beautiful. Currently, Hoang Dieu commune has 7/7 villages achieving the title of cultural village, 2,310 households achieving the title of cultural family. The work of protecting, preserving and embellishing historical and cultural relics is ensured according to regulations.

To date, the commune has 3 products recognized as 3-star OCOP in 2023 (including "Xanh Than Tai" of Quyen Loi garden, and 2 products of the Agricultural Cooperative, which are squash and pumpkin). In the commune, there are 5 products granted VietGAP certificates (squash, pumpkin, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and passionflower). In addition, the People's Committee of Hoang Dieu commune is coordinating with the City Cooperative Alliance and the ILO project to deploy a clean egg model to recognize OCOP products.

Thanks to the proper investment of the City People's Committee, the District People's Committee and the efforts of all the people, Hoang Dieu commune has been recognized by the Hanoi People's Committee as a commune meeting advanced NTM standards in Decision No. 1027/QD-UBND dated February 23, 2024.

Inter-village roads in Hoang Dieu commune have been expanded to meet people's travel needs and socio-economic development.

Talking to us, Chairman of Hoang Dieu Commune People's Committee Dao Danh Dung said that from 2016 to the end of the third quarter of 2024, the commune has received a total of 406 billion 500 million VND from the state to build infrastructure (electricity, roads, schools, stations, cultural houses, etc.). Of which, the city budget is 306 billion VND, the district budget is 76.9 billion VND, the commune budget is 16.7 billion VND and the socialized source is 6.9 billion VND. "For a purely agricultural commune like Hoang Dieu (in a short time), 6.9 billion VND of socialized source is not a small number. But more importantly, it contributes to making Hoang Dieu an advanced NTM commune by 2024", Mr. Dao Danh Dung continued.
