Thunderstorms blew off roofs of houses in An Tuong ward.

The natural disaster also caused 2 houses to suffer 50-70% damage; 1 house suffered a positive slope landslide, with rocks and soil flooding in, at risk of collapse. In addition, 6 houses suffered less than 30% damage, including 1 house in Viet Lam commune, 4 houses in Mau Due commune and 1 house in Minh Quang commune that had its ceiling cracked by lightning. 2 households in Mau Due and Bach Dich communes had to evacuate urgently due to rocks and soil sliding right next to their houses. The total value of damage caused by the natural disaster is estimated at about 2 billion VND.

Immediately after the disaster, local authorities mobilized forces to help people move to safety, survey damage, overcome consequences, and place warning signs at landslide sites to ensure traffic safety.
