At km 76+300, National Highway 49 passing through A Luoi 3 commune suffered a landslide, a large amount of soil and trees spilled over the road, making it difficult for vehicles to move. After many hours of congestion, at about 5:10 pm yesterday, motorbikes and cars were able to pass through the point.
Heavy rain also caused some roads in A Luoi 3 commune to be deeply flooded, with water flowing rapidly due to the steep terrain. Authorities and excavators were present at the scene to fix the situation of rocks spilling over the road surface, ensuring no long-term disruption of traffic on the roads.
From November 15-19, the cold air mass will intensify, causing widespread heavy rains across Hue City, rough seas, and the possibility of floods, flash floods, landslides, and mudslides in mountainous areas and along rivers and streams. In addition, low-lying areas downstream of rivers are at high risk of flooding, urban flooding, and areas with poor drainage systems.
