Sharing his thoughts on his impressive exam results, Canh Tung said he felt happy but also considered himself somewhat lucky. The humble student admitted that he was "very average" in his studies. His perfect score of 10 in specialized mathematics on the entrance exam to the specialized high school will be a motivation for him to continue striving harder in his high school years.
Tung's goal in the coming years is to focus on studying mathematics so that he can participate in the national mathematics competition for gifted students.
In addition, I will dedicate more time to learning foreign languages, playing sports , developing soft skills, and improving life skills, in order to prepare for bigger goals in the future.
Tung said that he spends a lot of time studying on his own every day. Before the entrance exam, he only attended extra classes in math and literature, with a total of 3-4 extra classes per week. In addition, he focuses on self-study, creating mind maps to organize and systematize his knowledge.
Tung values a relaxed and enjoyable learning experience. When faced with a difficult problem, if he can't figure out the solution even after nearly half an hour of trying, he'll stop to do something else, and then return to the difficult problem when he feels more relaxed.
Tung realized that things only yield the best results when done in a relaxed state of mind. For him, the most effective learning method is finding a balance, avoiding excessive stress and pressure.
Speaking about his love for mathematics, Tung said he realized he loved math in the third grade. He considers himself lucky because throughout his education, from elementary school onwards, he has always met teachers who motivated him to learn math, helping him grow his love for the subject over time.
For Tung, passing the entrance exam with good results is a milestone that motivates him to strive even harder.
According to Tung, each exam has its own significance in helping students understand who they are. At the same time, exams are also an opportunity for students to find a learning environment that suits them. Tung always views each exam as an important milestone to reflect on his learning journey and personal growth.
Although exams come with certain pressures, viewing them as milestones in my personal growth always helps me see the "charming" side and the significance of each exam in my school memories.
The art of breaking down goals into smaller parts to motivate yourself.
Throughout his studies, Tung didn't set overly ambitious goals for himself. He didn't want to put unnecessary pressure on himself. He believed that setting goals was a way to motivate himself to improve every day.
Therefore, I avoid setting overly ambitious goals that overwhelm and exhaust me, depriving me of the simple joys of learning. Tung prefers to break down large goals into smaller ones, gradually achieving each small goal and getting closer to his dreams.

Furthermore, to avoid feeling pressured in his studies, Tung focuses on regularly playing sports. He believes that finding hobbies is crucial for healthy and balanced development. Tung loves basketball; he plays it quite well and has been called up to the teams of several youth basketball clubs.
Tung said he wants to develop himself comprehensively: excel in academics, be good at sports, possess diverse soft skills, have good life skills, and know how to cope with various situations.
The teenager said that at each stage, he sets goals for himself to develop certain skills. Currently, he is practicing cooking and programming. He considers self-training in multiple skills a pleasure in his journey of growing up.
Instead of focusing on winning or losing, I associate with talented people to learn from them and progress together.
As a student in a specialized math class with all top-performing students, Tung said that he and his classmates were taught about healthy competition by their homeroom teacher, Nguyen Dac Thang, from an early age.
To avoid intense competition that could damage friendships among students, Mr. Thang - the math teacher of class 9A - always reminds his students: "When you step out into the wider world, you will inevitably face many formidable rivals."

Therefore, while we are still studying together in this classroom, let's love each other, work hard together, progress together, and ultimately achieve success together.
Let's build a united team and work together to achieve that goal."
Following his homeroom teacher's advice on healthy competition, Tung always proactively befriends students who are more talented than him, hoping that friends can support each other based on each person's abilities and strengths.
Tung openly asks questions and seeks help from his friend in areas where he is not as proficient as his friend.
Conversely, I'm also willing to help you in areas where I have a stronger grasp of the subject than you do.
Tung proudly shared that his class, with all 29/29 members passing the entrance exam to specialized high schools in the 10th grade, is a united group, always ready to help each other to progress together and "reach the finish line".
Ms. Nguyen La Soa, mother of student Nguyen Canh Tung, said that Tung's studies are entirely self-organized. The family has focused on instilling self-discipline in Tung's studies and daily life since he was young. Later, the family placed their trust in him, allowing him to take initiative in many things.
Tung's passion for mathematics is also a good motivator for his journey to adulthood. Naturally, Tung always knows how to organize his study and daily schedule scientifically and effectively, allowing him to simultaneously achieve many goals he sets for himself in his journey to maturity.
