This is a product designed and manufactured by the General Department of Defense Industry of Vietnam. The vehicle weighs about 15 tons, with overall dimensions larger than the BMP-1 model produced by the Soviet Union.
The XCB-01 is equipped with a 73 mm main gun with 40 rounds, a 7.62 mm PTK parallel machine gun with 2,000 rounds, and a 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine gun on the turret roof with 200 rounds. The vehicle has a maximum speed of 65 km/h, a swimming speed of 7 km/h with a 300 horsepower engine. The vehicle can climb a 30-degree slope and overcome many different terrains.

Information on the vehicle's protection capabilities has not been provided, but with a sloped armor design on the front hemisphere, the vehicle can withstand most standard or heavy direct-fire rounds.
Not far from the XCB-01 area are modern tanks owned by the Armored Corps. These are two variants of the T-90 tank: the T-90S and the command vehicle version T-90SK manufactured by Russia's Uralvagonzavod Corporation.
T-90SK command tank
According to the staff at the exhibition booth, the T-90 as well as the T-90S/SK version are equipped with extremely powerful and highly automated weapons systems with ballistic computers, optical-thermal sensors, observation equipment, automatic target tracking systems... allowing for accurate attacks on targets in all time and weather conditions.
The vehicle has a maximum speed of 60 km/h, weighs 46.5 tons, and can carry up to 3 people. The latest automatic loading system helps the T-90S/SK have a high rate of fire (7 - 8 rounds per minute). The 7.62 mm PKT parallel machine gun and the 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine gun provide firepower at all ranges and in all directions for the vehicle in combat.

In addition to powerful artillery shells, the T-90S/SK is also equipped with the 9M119M Refleks anti-tank missile system fired through the main gun barrel, capable of high-precision attacks up to 5 km and the ability to penetrate 950 mm of steel armor. This is a powerful weapon of tanks on the battlefield.
"This is the most modern tank model that Vietnam currently owns. The command vehicle is designed with 2 additional infrared lights that when opened will turn red, with the function of jamming and distracting targets attacking the tank," said an officer explaining.
