(Baohatinh.vn) - The completion of the project to upgrade the embankment and roads on both sides of the Tri River has brought about a new urban appearance to the central ward in the south of Ha Tinh.

The project to upgrade the embankment and roads on both sides of the Tri River with a total investment of 227 billion VND (from the capital of the Dynamic Urban Development Project - Ky Anh Urban Sub-project, loan from the World Bank - WB) has a total length of more than 3 km on both sides, connecting from the Tri River bridge to Cau market area (in Song Tri ward).

The project started in early September 2024 and was completed by the end of June 2025. The completed project achieved the goal of improving the landscape infrastructure, completing the embankment system and roads on both sides of the Tri River, thereby creating an urban highlight along both sides of the river in Song Tri ward.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Long (TDP3, Song Tri ward) said: " Previously, this area was quite deserted, the dirt and concrete roads were narrow and degraded. When the project was completed, the appearance changed completely, the roads were spacious, clean, beautiful, trees covered the route... we, the people, were extremely excited and happy."

"The completed system of fences and embankments not only brings a new look to Song Tri ward but also helps ensure safety for households living on both sides during each rainy and stormy season... ", Mr. Tran Hoan (TDP3, Song Tri ward) shared.

Road, sidewalk and tree projects completed create urban landscape for this area.

The project will also form a riverside residential area; becoming a highlight for the development of the central ward in the South of Ha Tinh .

Both sides of the river have also become favorite playgrounds for children.
