Thanh Hoa Social Policy Bank donated 110 bicycles to disadvantaged students.

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025-2026, on September 5, the Trade Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies - Thanh Hoa Branch (Thanh Hoa Bank for Social Policies) organized a bicycle donation ceremony for poor students who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies in many localities in the province.

Representatives from the Thanh Hoa branch of the Vietnam Social Policy Bank presented a symbolic gift of 20 bicycles to underprivileged students at Dong Tien Secondary School in Dong Tien commune.

Accordingly, during this period, the Trade Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) Thanh Hoa branch donated 110 bicycles to underprivileged students from many primary and secondary schools in the province, with a total value of over 200 million VND. This activity is part of the "Helping Children Continue Their Education" program of the VBSP Thanh Hoa branch. All funding was voluntarily contributed by the staff and employees of the VBSP Thanh Hoa branch.

Donating bicycles to underprivileged students to celebrate the start of the new school year is one of the meaningful activities that the Thanh Hoa branch of the Vietnam Social Policy Bank has maintained for the past 10 years. While the bicycles may not be of great monetary value, they serve as encouragement and motivation for disadvantaged students, providing them with a means of transportation to school and inspiring them to strive for academic excellence and become useful citizens for society.
