On June 24, the National Assembly discussed the draft Law on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters.

According to the program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, on June 24, 2025, the National Assembly will vote to pass a number of draft laws and resolutions of the National Assembly; then discuss in the hall the draft Law on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters.

In the morning session, the National Assembly voted to pass the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Vietnamese Nationality. Voted to pass the Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting the People's Procuracy in initiating civil lawsuits to protect the civil rights of vulnerable groups or to protect public interests. Voted to pass the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (amended).

Afterwards, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the draft Law on Judicial Assistance in Criminal Matters. The Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy spoke to explain and clarify a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies.

Next, the National Assembly listened to the Minister of Finance , authorized by the Prime Minister, present a Report on the arrangement of sources for payment of debts under the Government's responsibility at the Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC). The Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee presented a Report on the examination of the arrangement of sources for payment of debts under the Government's responsibility at the Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC).

The National Assembly then discussed in the hall the results of the supervision of the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Government members and relevant agencies and individuals spoke to explain and clarify a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies.

Next, the National Assembly listened to the National Assembly Standing Committee present to the National Assembly a Report on organizational and personnel work under its authority. Discussion in the Delegation on organizational and personnel work under its authority.
