On December 8, the National Assembly discussed special mechanisms for large projects in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.

According to the agenda of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly, on December 8, the National Assembly discussed specific mechanisms and policies to implement major projects in the capital; draft Resolution on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.

In the morning session, the National Assembly listened to the Minister of Construction , authorized by the Prime Minister, present a Report on adjusting the content of Resolution No. 94/2015/QH13 of the National Assembly on the investment policy of Long Thanh International Airport.

Next, the Minister of Finance , authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Report on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Value Added Tax; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to implement large projects in the capital; on the second round of state budget supplementation (foreign non-refundable capital) in 2025; the amendment and supplement to Resolution No. 170/2024/QH15 dated November 30, 2024 of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles for projects and land in the conclusions of inspections, examinations, and judgments in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang City, and Khanh Hoa Province.

Then, the Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee presented the Verification Report on 5 contents: Draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Value Added Tax; draft Resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to implement major projects in the capital; adjustment of the content of Resolution No. 94/2015/QH13 of the National Assembly on investment policy for Long Thanh International Airport; on supplementing the second phase of the state budget (foreign non-refundable capital) in 2025; amendment and supplement of Resolution No. 170/2024/QH15 dated November 30, 2024 of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles for projects and land in the conclusions of inspections, examinations and judgments in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang City and Khanh Hoa Province.

Next, the National Assembly discussed in the hall about: Draft Resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to implement major projects in the capital. Draft Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City. Draft Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city.
