Nghe An: Highlights on October 2

* The People's Committee of Nghe An province assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, relevant departments, branches, sectors and agencies to study and review the content of the Plan to implement the Agreement on socio -economic development cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City.

* On the morning of October 2, the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An organized a ceremony to receive high school training programs for students from provinces of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, school year 2023 - 2024.

* Nghe An Provincial People's Committee requires localities in the area to absolutely not allow businesses and individuals to rent or borrow the halls of the People's Committees of wards, communes and towns; cultural houses of blocks, hamlets and villages, and stadiums to organize product introductions, sales, and organize seminars combined with sales.

* Many localities in Nghe An have proposed not to collect back the allowances paid to seconded teachers. Localities believe that stopping the payment and collecting back the amount of money already paid for teaching allowances and seniority allowances will greatly affect the spirit and material of seconded officials both in the short and long term.

* After the historic flood, the domestic water source of Quy Chau people was mixed with mud, turbid, and unusable. Currently, Quy Chau district is directing the focus on cleaning the water source, ensuring the daily life of the people.

* Heavy rains in the last days of September caused many areas of crops to be flooded. After the rain stopped, the harsh sunlight caused the vegetables to wilt, die and rot. Meanwhile, at the people's markets, green vegetables "inflated in price", many types of green vegetables were scarce, prices increased 3-4 times but still could not be sold.
