In the first 6 months of the year, the Center for Human Resource Demand Forecasting and Labor Market Information of Ho Chi Minh City (Falmi, under the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of the city) conducted a survey on the recruitment needs of 43,000 businesses with nearly 154,000 job positions and more than 76,000 people looking for jobs.
The results show that the highest recruitment demand is in the commercial business sector. Enterprises need to recruit more than 38,000 jobs, accounting for 25% of the total human resource demand of the whole city in the first 6 months of the year.

Comparing supply and demand in the first 6 months of the year shows that the market still has a very clear "phase difference". While the commercial business sector needs to recruit more than 38,000 jobs, there are only nearly 10,000 people looking for jobs in this sector (accounting for nearly 13% of the total number of job seekers).
Similarly, the personal service and security industry needs more than 14,000 jobs but only 251 people (accounting for 0.33% of the total number of job seekers) applied.
Businesses recruiting in the accounting and auditing sector have an easier time as there is a need to recruit nearly 12,000 jobs and more than 7,000 people looking for this job.
