Artist Mai Tran helps his wife deliver goods
Recently, artist Phuong Dung posted pictures and shared information about artist Mai Tran. When she learned that the male artist and his wife were selling products online, she placed an order to support them. More surprisingly, he was the one who personally came to the film crew to deliver the products.
“He has a heart condition so his health is not good, he cannot perform, but he does not give up. He says he will do anything, as long as it is a decent job. When his wife sells goods online, he delivers them himself, no matter how far away, sunny or rainy. Hearing him confide that one time he drove dozens of kilometers to deliver goods in the rain, but when he arrived he could not contact the customer, so he had to take the goods back, it is heartbreaking to hear. I hope he is always healthy and has good sales,” she shared.
Artist Phuong Dung’s post received a lot of attention from artists and audiences. Many colleagues such as Hanh Thuy, Gia Bao… also enthusiastically shared information and promoted products to help the male artist and his wife.

Want to make money by your own efforts
Talking to Thanh Nien , Ms. Quynh Van - artist Mai Tran's wife said that after undergoing heart surgery due to a blood vessel blockage in the brain in 2019, her husband's health was no longer good, his memory was deteriorating, sometimes he remembered and sometimes he forgot, so he could not continue his artistic activities. Away from the stage and film studio, Mai Tran's daily life only revolved around home. Seeing his wife struggling to earn money to make ends meet, he posted online sales and helped deliver goods in some places. "He wants to work to relieve his boredom. I only let him deliver goods in nearby places, but I take care of the far away places because I'm afraid he will forget the way," the artist's wife shared.
In recent days, thanks to the support of colleagues and audiences, the couple's orders have increased. The male artist's wife confided: "There are young people who recognize me as an artist and even give me extra shipping money, I am very touched. I am sad because I can no longer act in movies, I miss my job and am very worried. But I know I can't do it anymore so I have to give up. I have accepted roles a few times before, but I read the script, learned the lines for a while and then forgot, afraid that it would affect the whole film crew."

Currently, artist Mai Tran and her husband live in Nhon Trach ( Dong Nai ). Previously, they temporarily lived on a relative's land. Later, when their mother gave them land, the couple borrowed money to build a small house as a place to live. Ms. Quynh Van said that most of the online customers live in Ho Chi Minh City, so every day the couple drove from Dong Nai to deliver goods. Some days, she left from noon until late at night, and when she got home, she quickly prepared goods for the next day.
According to artist Mai Tran's wife: "Even though family life is difficult, we are always happy and have never argued about money. When we have money, we eat better, when we have difficulty, we only have vegetables and porridge to get through the day. When we decide to be husband and wife, it is natural to accompany each other, no matter how happy or sad we will go through life together."

The male artist's wife also said that in recent days, a number of individuals have contacted him, offering to film clips to call for help, but the couple both refused. Artist Mai Tran's wife expressed: "We do not want to take advantage of illness or difficulties to ask for money. My husband and I are still able to work, and can still live on our own efforts. When he delivers goods, if anyone feels sorry and gives a little more, we accept it with gratitude. As for calling for donations, we refuse. In the past, he was grateful to colleagues and audiences for helping him with surgery costs. But now, we think that as long as we are strong, we have to do it ourselves, we cannot rely on others forever."
