Gia Lai people brave the rain to watch Ho Chi Minh City artists perform

On the evening of May 28, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee coordinated with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee to organize a gift-giving program for families of policy beneficiaries, compatriots, and soldiers in Ia Grai district, Gia Lai province.

This is one of the activities within the framework of the journey to the source , following the footsteps of the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising , organized by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Bring warmth to people in need

Before and during the show, it rained but hundreds of people still braved the rain to watch the artists perform, showing the audience's love for the artists.

On this occasion, the organizing committee presented 50 gifts to policy families; 80 gifts to families of compatriots, cadres, soldiers and students of the district.

Designer Viet Hung donated fabric to make Ao Dai for 60 female teachers in Ia Grai district. This is an activity in the Ao Dai Journey that Viet Hung has maintained for over 10 years. Every year, he donates from 5,000 to 10,000 Ao Dai sets to teachers in remote areas across the country.

Special gift for Gia Lai

Ho Chi Minh City's art troupe brings a special art program with many familiar songs, newly arranged for Gia Lai audiences.

The performances in the program are a random combination of artists participating in the journey to the source, bringing new emotions to the audience.

The song "Homeland Melody " (composed by musician Tran Tien) has a heroic melody, expressing national pride. This song is associated with the names of many famous singers.

However, in this music night, Homeland Melody was performed by four voices combining for the first time including singers Huynh Loi, Pham The Vi, Anh Bang and Thanh Tam.

The atmosphere was further heated up by the appearance of artists Trong Phuc, Nguyen Phi Hung, and Quoc Dai through the song Bai Ca Dat Phuong Nam . The familiar melody of the late musician Lu Nhat Vu resounded, making the audience captivated once again.

The audience continued to applaud and cheer for artist Trong Phuc when he collaborated with artists Phuong Loan, Le Hong Tham, Dien Trung, and Le Trinh to perform the sweet vọng cổ song Cung đàn mới.

The harmonious combination of the artists kept the audience glued to the stage.

In the Back to the Source art program, the audience got to listen to a new version of Continuing the Peace Story through the collaboration of singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh and the champion of the Shining Stars duo Minh Sang.

This is a successful composition by musician Nguyen Van Chung in the revolutionary folk music genre. The song has more than 5 billion views on social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Short, Facebook, Instagram.

This song was performed by Vo Ha Tram and Dong Hung at the 50th anniversary celebration of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Continuing the story of peace has also brought many music awards to Nguyen Van Chung.

Singer Nguyen Phi Hung added a highlight to the program with the Vietnamese Youth March . The audience cheered enthusiastically for his performance.

The national song Bong bong bang bang was performed by singer Doan Dai Hoa - champion of the Powerful Band. The special feature of the performance was the combination of puppetry by artist Duoc Pupets and flashmob dancing.

The hits Four words and Rebirth were covered by singers Duong Quoc Hung and Minh Sang as a gift for the audience.

The music night ended with loving arms, hand in hand between the HCM City artists and the Gia Lai audiences through the Big Hands Connection . The program ended but many audiences lingered regretfully.

In particular, the audience enjoyed the performance of ao dai and brocade vest in the collection Tay Nguyen Colors by designer Viet Hung.

The fashion show was made more exciting by the participation of singer Quoc Dai in the song " Thi Tran Suong Fog" (composed by musician Thanh Son).
