Indonesian beauty crowned Miss Cosmo 2024

Surpassing 55 other contestants, 21-year-old beauty Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari was crowned Miss Cosmo 2024.

The Miss Cosmo 2024 Final Night took place on the evening of October 5 in Ho Chi Minh City with nearly 60 contestants from countries and territories. The final lasted nearly three hours in the vibrant atmosphere of the outdoor stage at Saigon Riverside Park.

The new Miss Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari comes from Bali, Indonesia. She is 1.73 m tall and was the 2nd runner-up of Miss Puteri Indonesia 2024. She said she is passionate about fashion and has supported sustainable tourism for many years. The beauty queen is studying Fashion Design and is also a professional model in her home country. During the more than 1 month of the contest, the Indonesian beauty has always shown stable performance and has been highly appreciated by international beauty sites.

In addition to the highest title of Miss Cosmo 2024 awarded to the Indonesian beauty, the Organizing Committee only awarded one runner-up title to Mook Karnruethai Tassabut, a Thai beauty, instead of choosing the top 3 like other international beauty contests. Contestant Xuan Hanh - Vietnam's representative at the contest - stopped at the top 5.

The runner-up title went to Mook Karnruethai Tassabut, from Thailand.

The Miss Cosmo 2024 Final Night was hosted by two MCs: Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa and MC Duc Bao. The highlight of the stage was the musical performances of Jmi Ko - Korean violinist, singer Shontell, Ho Ngoc Ha. Many audiences from Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia came to Ho Chi Minh City to cheer on the contestants.

The Miss Cosmo 2024 jury includes Ms. Paula Shugart - former president of Miss Universe, Mr. Pham Quang Vinh - former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, George Chien - President of KC Global Media and beauties Harnaaz Sandhu (Miss Universe 2021), H'Hen Nie (Top 5 Miss Universe 2018), Kim Duyen (2nd Runner-up Miss Supranational 2022).
