(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Despite receiving dedicated care from her family, doctors, and the support of Dan Tri newspaper readers, Ms. Bich's condition was too severe, causing her body to weaken. On December 24th, she passed away.
The unfortunate woman could not overcome her fate.
According to information from her family, Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Bich (born in 1986, residing at Group 1, Mai Dong Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi ) passed away at 4:14 PM on December 24th at her home.

Ms. Bich is the subject of the article "Mother with metastatic cancer endures pain to save money for her child's education" which Dan Tri newspaper previously reported on.
At the end of 2022, Ms. Bich was shocked to discover she had stage 3 colon cancer. Despite her best efforts to fight the disease, her condition worsened, with the cancer metastasizing to both ovaries, lungs, spleen, and kidneys, forcing her to use a wheelchair during her treatment.
In her final days, seeing her health steadily declining, Bich tearfully instructed her mother and family: "I won't live to see Tet (Lunar New Year) anymore, Mom! I have no strength left, I'm exhausted, I know exactly how I'm doing. I'm an unfilial child for not being able to take care of my parents!"
Despite the pain and exhaustion, Ms. Bich still tries to encourage her family and is always worried about the future of her two daughters, Nguyen Phuong Anh (born in 2007) and Nguyen Minh Anh (born in 2012).
Moved by the plight of Ms. Bich's family, readers of Dan Tri newspaper and philanthropists from all over have joined hands to help.

In the first week of the fundraising campaign, Ms. Bich received 121,667,989 VND from readers. In the second week, the family received an additional 63,341,163 VND (Photo: Van Ha).
The total amount the family received after two weeks of fundraising was 185,009,152 VND . The entire amount has been transferred by Dan Tri newspaper to Ms. Bich's account.
Thanks to the generous support of kind-hearted readers, sisters Phuong Anh and Minh Anh can now feel somewhat more at ease and continue pursuing their dream of going to school. At the same time, this money also helps Bich's children avoid having to shoulder their mother's debts.
A thank you from the family.
In their grief, Ms. Tran Thuy Ngan (Ms. Bich's sister) and Ms. Bui Thi Nguyet (Ms. Bich's mother) emotionally expressed their deepest gratitude to the readers of Dan Tri newspaper, the doctors and nurses, and the Social Work Department of Thanh Nhan Hospital.
"I am heartbroken by the loss of my sister. In her final days, she received so much love and affection from everyone, and my family doesn't know what more to say than to express our most sincere gratitude. Before my sister passed away, I was somewhat reassured to see everyone caring for and helping my two children," Ms. Ngan shared emotionally.

The pain of losing her child is etched on Mrs. Nguyet's pale face, weakened by illness. Sitting in her deceased daughter's dilapidated house, she shared her anxieties:
"My two granddaughters are living in a leaky house; every time it rains, water spills everywhere. On heavy rain days, I worry about them because the plaster ceiling might collapse at any moment. Life is nothing but hardship and deprivation. Now that my daughter is gone, only my two young granddaughters are left to shoulder everything, and their future is bleak…"
The mother, who had terminal cancer, has passed away, leaving her two children orphaned, having lost both their father and mother ( Video : The Hung).
Suppressing her grief, Mrs. Nguyet expressed her deep gratitude to all the benefactors and readers who helped Ms. Bich during those difficult times. The warm embrace of the community has offered some comfort to her deceased daughter and her family.
With a distraught and pained expression, grieving the loss of her mother, Nguyen Phuong Anh choked back tears as she expressed: "On behalf of my entire family, I would like to thank all the uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters, and readers of Dan Tri newspaper for their immense support and encouragement to our family."
