Recently, the Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health signed a decision to terminate the employment of an official named Nguyen Thanh Hiep (born in 1976), working at the Medical Affairs Department of this agency.
According to the above decision, Mr. Hiep was approved to resign from his job as desired from September 8. The Department of Health Office coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs and Social Insurance to carry out the procedure to terminate Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep's job according to current policies and regulations.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep was the former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the School Council, Principal of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, former member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the University and College Block of Ho Chi Minh City.

In April, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep was disciplined with a warning by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Committee after the Ho Chi Minh City Inspectorate concluded on the responsibility of the head in implementing the law on receiving citizens, handling petitions, complaints, denunciations, and managing and using finance and assets assigned to Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine.
After being disciplined, on May 12, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep was transferred by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and worked there until he resigned.
