This is the first airline at Da Nang International Terminal to provide this service. Accordingly, Starlux Airlines' self-check-in counter at Terminal T2 allows passengers to check in their luggage quickly and conveniently.
Passengers can easily print tags on the touch screen, then stick the tags on their luggage and place them on the conveyor belt. The system automatically transports the luggage to the security control area and transfers it to the plane.
In addition, the Passenger Assistant Team (PAT) is always present around the self-service baggage drop-off counter to assist passengers throughout the check-in process.
Mr. Elvis Chao, Chief Representative of Starlux Airlines in Da Nang, said that Da Nang International Terminal is the first terminal in Vietnam where the airline has deployed an automatic baggage check-in system. This will help passengers shorten check-in time by 15-20 minutes, enhance passenger experience, reduce congestion during peak hours, and ensure smooth travel.
It is known that T2 terminal has previously put into operation a system of equipment such as self check-in kiosks, autogates, and self boarding gates. The integration of the T2 terminal's self-check-in system allows passengers to use fully automated services from check-in, baggage check-in, immigration, and boarding.
Thanks to this, the check-in process is significantly shortened, the passenger experience is enhanced, and the service efficiency of the terminal during peak hours is also improved, ensuring smooth traffic flow.
