THE SECOND CHOLIMEX FACTORY IS GRANTED AN EU CODE AND FOOD SAFETY CERTIFICATE

Having fully met the conditions and evaluation criteria, Cholimex Food's second food processing plant, located at Lots C3-19 to C3-24, VL7 Road, Vinh Loc 2 Industrial Park, Voi La Hamlet, Long Hiep Commune, Ben Luc District, Long An Province, has been granted EU code number (TS 1265) and a food safety certificate.
Specifically, on December 11, 2024, the Southern Region Quality, Processing and Market Development Sub-Department officially granted the EU code (TS 1265) and food safety certificate to Cholimex Food Ben Luc Food Processing Plant after conducting an assessment on December 5, 2024. The plant, covering nearly 4 hectares with a capacity of 10,000 tons per year, commenced construction at the end of 2022 with a total investment of 850 billion VND. In July 2024, the plant continued with phase 2 construction, including expanding the production area, storage facilities, and upgrading the wastewater treatment system. Upon operation, the plant will fully meet domestic and international food safety quality standards such as: ISO 9001:2015; ISO 22000:2018; The factory meets the global standards of the British Retail Consortium (BRC) for the food industry; it is eligible for export to the European Union with EU code (TS 1265) and also ensures HALAL standards for the Muslim market and KOSHER standards for the Jewish market. In addition, the factory also ensures sustainable and environmentally friendly production requirements. According to Cholimex Food's leadership, the investment and operation of the Cholimex Food Ben Luc factory is considered a new development aimed at increasing production, meeting market demand, and contributing to bringing Cholimex Food products closer to consumers worldwide .
