Meanwhile, midfielder Vu Thi Hoa received a separate reward of 50 million VND from Viettel Cambodia. She is one of the players with the most difficult circumstances in the Vietnamese women's team. In 2018, Hoa's father passed away in a work accident, her mother is in poor health and can only do light labor. Hoa and her mother have raised three younger siblings, all of her salary and bonuses go to help her mother take care of their food and education. Vu Thi Hoa always practices hard and is highly appreciated by coach Mai Duc Chung for her expertise. Whenever given the opportunity, Hoa always plays hard and completes her tasks.
Boxing team member Ha Thi Linh was also awarded 50 million VND by Viettel Cambodia. The Tay ethnic girl from Lao Cai province helped Vietnamese boxing quench its thirst for gold and fulfill its target, when she brought home the second gold medal on the final day of competition. Not many people know that the girl with strong punches and fierce attacks on the ring is the mother of 2 young daughters.
Metfone General Director Cao Manh Duc shared: "Metfone is proud to witness the competition process of the Vietnamese sports delegation athletes at the 32nd SEA Games. We have seen the difficult circumstances and the will to rise of Ha Thi Linh. We hope that spirit and will will be spread."
